With COVID-19 (the coronavirus) on the rise spreading all over the world, all my friends and people I know are being placed in isolation. The world is in locked down, international flights cancelled the Australia state borders closed, restaurants, gyms, clubs, shopping centers also closed, Its a crazy time of the year and 2020 no-one will ever forget. Over 200,000 people came unemployed in Australia in less than 12 hours, schools closing and people working from home just to be safe. But there is hope humans are a resourceful species and we will come out of the shadows stronger..
Keep Practicing
I've been drawing all my life. It's been over 30 years since I picked up my first pencil and started to created, you would think I have my skill down by now, If you are an Artist you know that isn't true, I learn and keep learning every day, not because I need to because I want to its part of the passion to create.. I have had people come up to me and ask, Why are you so good? How can I be as good as you? All I say is Practise & Keep Practising..
There is a fine line being a photographer and an Artist, to an Artist that likes photography.
Not all artists are natural-born photographers. Photography can seem really technical and overwhelming for many of us. NEVERLESS every artist should record their work someway. I think it’s always good look back on your work and sometimes it’s even better to be able to print off some prints for sale or give to a family member or friends. Plus getting good image of your artwork for displaying on social media sites or websites can mean the difference of selling or not selling your work!
Drawing is an art form
Artwork does not need to be realism or so perfect that a machine has lines, lines and lines of code to decipher. It is about forming an idea being perfect isn’t what art is about it’s the freedom of creating an idea an expression of oneself. Drawings in the dicontiarty.com say drawings is “the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance”. Who’s to say what is or what isn’t significant to another person’s feelings or emotions of the beautiful or and the ugly? It’s yours to choice
