Keep Practicing

I've been drawing all my life. It's been over 30 years since I picked up my first pencil and started to created, you would think I have my skill down by now, If you are an Artist you know that isn't true, I learn and keep learning every day, not because I need to because I want to its part of the passion to create.. I have had people come up to me and ask, Why are you so good? How can I be as good as you? All I say is Practise & Keep Practising..

I like to learn new things, new mediums, new products, new styles.. Its only been really a year since I started watercolor painting as I find it fascinating watching the colours blend, and with each painting I do my talent grows as you learn new things.  You can see below each time I attempted with watercolors the detail became form defined..

Once you can the idea of how a certain medium works you can start to incorporate it into your artwork, Below is a section on images that have more that one type of medium, as an example most of my pencil drawings are done in Prismacolors but the highlights and dark areas are done in acrylic paints this gives them a deeper depth. Have a look and see if you can see the changes.
